How did we let it get to this point?

Karl Rove......."They're gonna take your guns"......Every gun toting redneck was seduced by the Spin-meister.......If it wasen't the gun rights....he spun the gay hate and basically.....he had a majority of Redneck America in the palm of his hand.

We shouldn't forget the pontificating blow-hard.......Rush Limbaugh......who uses public airwaves to spread the Republican "fear = followship" adgenda.

Then.....we have the Vice President.......Dick Cheney.......AKA....The Puppet Master.

A naive and gullible population makes it possible for evil to thrive.

Here in Ohio......the media uncovered the "Joe the Plumber" phishing scandal.  The head of the Department of Job & Family Services......a Democrat.......Allowed department members to use state computers to data-mine Joe the Plumber......The masses called for her dismissal......The media ran the story up the flag-pole and ALSO used Joe the Plumber's 15 minutes of fame to sell their papers.

I was baffled........I fondly remember the Bush administration's hacking of personal phone records.....all in the name of FEAR......I remember America's willingness to surrender their rights and bow down to King George and the Republican party.

How did we get here?

When "For the people....by the people....of the people" is embraced by this wonderful country......As it was during the election of Barak Obama......We won't be HERE for to long.
